In order to further popularize health knowledge and enhance the emergency self-rescue and mutual aid capabilities of all employees when facing emergencies, our company officially launched a special safety and health training this week under the theme of "Safeguarding Life, Walking with Health." The event received high attention from company leadership and active responses from employees across all departments.
I. Seizing the Golden 4 Minutes: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Artificial Respiration In emergencies such as sudden myocardial infarction or suffocation, the timing directly determines the survival of life. This training specially invited professional medical staff to conduct on-site teaching, focusing on a deep breakdown of the standard movements of chest compressions and artificial respiration.
Theoretical Approach: The exact location, frequency (100-120 times/minute), and depth of compressions were clearly defined.
Practical Exercises: Human medical mannequins were provided at the training site. Under the guidance of the instructors, employees practiced hands-on to ensure that every compression and every breath met standard requirements, effectively mastering life-saving skills within the "Golden 4 Minutes."
II. Mastering the "Heimlich Maneuver": Saying No to Airway Foreign Body Obstruction Addressing situations where food or foreign objects choke the throat, which are relatively common in daily life, the training explained the Heimlich Maneuver in detail.
Key Essentials: "If someone is choking and turning pale, quickly stand behind them. Make a fist just above the navel, and pull inward and upward with force."
The instructor gave vivid demonstrations for different scenarios such as adults, children, and self-rescue. Employees paired up in groups to simulate the practice, accurately mastering the angle and force-exerting techniques of the rescue, ensuring they can instantly become life guardians at critical moments.
III. Preventing Diseases Before They Occur: Scientifically Building a Cancer Prevention Network In addition to urgent first aid skills, this training paid special attention to the long-term physical health of employees, popularizing knowledge on early cancer screening and prevention. The lecturer, combining the latest medical data, explained the inducing factors and early warning signals of common cancers (such as lung cancer, stomach cancer, colorectal cancer, etc.) in a simple and easy-to-understand manner. The lecture underscored the scientific concept of "early detection, early diagnosis, and early treatment." At the same time, tailored routine physical examinations and specialized screening suggestions were provided for employees of different age groups, guiding everyone to correct bad lifestyle habits and establish a rational and scientific awareness of cancer prevention.
Conclusion Safety is no small matter, and health is the foundation. This health and first aid knowledge training not only filled the gaps in employees' knowledge of emergency rescue but also created a positive atmosphere of "everyone learns first aid, everyone knows first aid" within the company. Employees participating in the training expressed that these skills are not only vital in the workplace but also of extremely high practical value for protecting the lives and safety of family members and those around them. In the future, the company will continue to adhere to the people-oriented philosophy and continuously launch more regular safety and health science popularization activities to escort the life and health of every employee!
