Product Details

Double roll crusher (also known as roller crusher) is a high-efficiency fine crushing equipment widely utilized in coal processing, metallurgy, mining, chemical, and building material industries. Operating via continuous roll-squeezing action, two parallel alloy rollers rotate toward each other to draw in and crush raw materials. It delivers outstanding performance when processing medium-hard, soft, or highly sticky and wet materials such as coal, coke, limestone, oil shale, and clay. The machine is universally recognized for its exceptionally low over-crushing rate and precise control of output particle size, making it the ideal choice for maximizing marketable product yield.

Features:

Advanced particle size control with minimal over-crushing and fewer fines.

Continuous roll-squeezing action for high-efficiency fine reduction.

Durable roller shells forged from premium wear-resistant manganese alloy steel.

Flexible roll gap adjustment for quick and precise discharging size control.

Reliable mechanical spring or hydraulic overload protection against tramp iron.

Non-clogging vertical material flow, highly suitable for wet and sticky materials.

Simple mechanical structure with low operational noise, minimal dust, and low maintenance.

Benefits Features

1. Minimal over-crushing and superior particle uniformity.

By continuously drawing materials into a precise preset clearance, the double rollers apply direct mechanical pressure rather than high-speed impact. This ensures the final products feature highly uniform granularity with an exceptionally low rate of over-crushed powder, significantly increasing the yield of valuable sizes.

2. Non-clogging performance on wet and sticky materials.

Unlike impact or hammer crushers that easily clog when handling wet materials, the roll crusher utilizes forced intake rotation. It can seamlessly process sticky materials like damp coal, clay, and shale without the risk of chamber blockage or screen blinding.

3. Advanced tramp iron and overload protection.

Equipped with a robust spring or hydraulic safety system. When an unbreakable foreign object (such as a steel wedge) enters the rollers, the pressure triggers the rollers to automatically retreat, allowing the object to pass safely without damaging the shafts or heavy-duty roller bearings.

4. Long-life alloy roller shells with easy adjustment.

The roller sleeves are manufactured from specialized high-manganese steel or premium alloys to resist severe wear. Operators can adjust the close-side setting (CSS) quickly using a simple mechanical wedge or hydraulic cylinder to meet changing customer specifications.

5. Economical and eco-friendly continuous operation.

Driven by a high-torque reducer and optimized dual motors, it operates with lower energy consumption per ton compared to high-speed crushers. Its fully enclosed housing prevents material spillage and significantly reduces operational dust and noise.
